The 3rd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, is getting ready for a month long stay at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, Ca, to prepare for their scheduled deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Pfc. Erik Anderson reports from Kelley Hill, Fort Benning, Ga.

I was DITY moving from California to Ft Benning last week and saw all the tracks on the rail cars goin across AZ & I thought “I guess 3rd ID is goin to NTC”
I guess I was right. I remember those days from 1BDE 3ID, 3/7IN. Godspeed to all you 3rd BDE guys, get that good training, and deploy and redeploy safely.
